5 leave-in treatments your hair needs this summer

Don't get me wrong. I LOVE summer - but my hair doesn't. The intense sun exposure mixed with chlorine and salt water, sweat, and constant ponytails is truly putting a strain on the integrity of my hair.. and I'm sure all of you can relate. Here are my go-to save the day leave-in treatments for the summer (and all year round).

Where do I start with this product. Olaplex 6 Bond Smoother is my "you can only have 1 thing on a deserted island" product. This leave-in is great on all hair types, provides 72 hour frizz control, strengthens the hair with bond builders, and deep conditions all at once.

This one is another personal favorite. The IGK Beach Club Bouncy Blowout Cream is a great "all-in-one" product. It provides heat protection up to 450 degrees, adds body and movement, has built in UV protection, and moisture locking technology.

This product couldn't possibly smell better. But on top of that, Amika's Supernova Cream hits a lot of much needed spots for dull summer hair. This leave-in has built-in heat protection, adds shine, has anti-humectant properties, and is rich in vitamin C & A.

This product line is fairly new to me, but it has been massively impressive. This spray in leave-in is the perfect all in one product for summer, and would be amazing for kids! Doubling as a detangler, this product moisturizes, nourishes, and adds shine to your summer hair.

Last, but certainly not least, is Unites 7Seconds Conditioner. This leave-in provides so many benefits, perfect for dry summer hair. It hydrates, provides UV and heat protection, adds weightless moisture and shine, and is also safe for extensions.

All 5 products are perfect for use on wet-to-damp hair and are all color safe. I love to throw these in my damp hair and braid it before (and after) going into the sun or water. This always leaves my hair feeling super moisture rich and I never have to worry about my blonde hair getting damaged or dry in this heat.
